At the asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab accepts notice for respondent No. 1-State of Punjab. Mr. Abhinandan Jindal, Advocate appears and accepts notice for respondent No. 2.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the main case is preponed to today i.e. 09.04.2024.
The application is allowed accordingly.
CRM-M-4510 of 2024 On 31.01.2024, the following order was passed :- "Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset submits that due to inadvertence, the complainant could not be impleaded as a party respondent in this case. CRM-M-4510 of 2024 (O&M) 2024:PHHC:047888 Lal, r/o House No.180, Dilbag Nagar, Extension Jalandhar is impleaded as party-respondent No.2.
Registry is directed to carry out the requisite correction in the memo of parties.
Inter alia relies upon the compromise deed dated 25.07.2023 (copy whereof has been appended as Annexure P-2) with the present petition, to argue that the entire matter stands amicably resolved between the parties.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh Thind, AAG, Punjab, appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Operation of the impugned order dated 04.11.2023 (Annexure P-4) shall remain stayed till the next date of hearing." Vide CRM-M-37930-2023, quashing of the FIR in question along with proceedings emanating therefrom have been sought for on the ground of compromise. Requisite statements by the parties have been made. A report regarding this aspect of the matter has also been received from the concerned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate.
In view of the fact that the matter in hand emanates from a matrimonial dispute which has been amicably settled between the parties, this Court deems it appropriate to quash the impugned order dated 04.11.2023 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
