(Oral) Prayer in this criminal writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, directing respondents No.1 and 2 to get released (i) Rajesh Mahto (ii) Birju Sharma (iii) Gopal Sharma (iv) Lal Babu Kumar and (v) Chandan, relatives/villagers of the petitioner from the illegal custody of respondent No.3. Further prayer has been made to appoint a warrant officer to get release the said detenues from the illegal custody of respondent No.3.

Report of Warrant Officer is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present criminal writ petition.
