Mr. Fateh Sahota, Advocate for the petitioner. AARADHNA SAWHNEY , J (ORAL) The petitioner, at whose behest criminal proceedings vide FIR No. 42 dated 25.02.2024 registered under Sections 279/304-A/427 IPC were initiated, has filed the present petition praying therein for issuance of direction to the official respondents to conduct an impartial investigation in the aforesaid FIR. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite the fact that the criminal proceedings were initiated approximately two years ago, the investigation is proceeding at a snail's pace. Aggrieved by the apathetic attitude on the part of the Investigating Officer, the petitioner moved an application dated 16.07.2025 however, the same remains undecided till date. At this stage, the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is for issuance of directions to the official respondent concerned to decide the representation dated 16.07.2025 (Annexure P.2) submitted by the petitioner, at the earliest.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case and in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the DSP concerned to look into the matter and decide the representation dated 16.07.2025 (Annexure P.2) as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
