The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is tenant under one Sukhjit Singh in shop in question and the copy of the lease deed is Annexure P-3 and he further submits that earlier respondent No.4 was business partner of the petitioner but in April 2023, respondent No.4 went to Australia for permanent settlement there but now he has returned to India and is interfering in the business of the petitioner and is demanding the possession of the shop from the petitioner by using illegal means and in this regard the petitioner gave representation dated 12.01.2024 (Annexure P-4) to respondents No. 2 and 3 but police authorities failed to take any action.

The counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if time bound direction is given to respondent No.3 to do the needful, in accordance with law. 3.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Gurdarshan Singh Sidhu, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State and submits that in case any such representation filed Priyanka Thakur 2024.01.23 18:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

    

 by the petitioner is pending with the police authorities, the same will be disposed of in accordance with law.

Counsel for the petitioner is agreed to the aforesaid proposal. 6.

In view of above and without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide representation dated 12.01.2024 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
