*** RAJBIR SEHRAWAT , J. (ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.97, dated 24.06.2017 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 323, 324, 341, 148, 149 & 34 of IPC (Sections 326, 325, 201 IPC added later on) at Police Station Division No.2, District Pathankot and all subsequent proceedings on the basis of compromise.

Vide order dated 28.02.2023, the parties were directed to appear before the learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their statements recorded; as to the genuineness of the compromise. In compliance thereof, report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Pathankot, dated 18.04.2023, has been received, wherein, it has been submitted that the parties did not appear for recording their statements qua the compromise. 3.

Even today, there is no representation on behalf of either of the parties.
