ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been given the benefit of promotion to the post of Assistant Sub Inspectorwhereas his junior (respondent No.5) has been promoted, which is allegedly in violation of orders contained at Annexures P-2 and P-4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner submitted a representation dated 05.01.2021 (Annexure P-6) but the same has not been adverted by the respondents till date. Hence, the instant petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the threshold submits that he would be satisfied, at this stage, if a final decision is taken by the competent authority on the representation dated 05.01.2021 (Annexure P-6). 4.

Ms. Mamta Talwar, DAG, Haryana who has joined proceedings on service of advance copy of the petition accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State of Haryana.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner as per representation dated 05.01.2021 (Annexure P-6) and also by keeping in view the contentions stated in the present petition by treating the same as supplementary representation and decide the same by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law. 8.

Let the needful be done within a period of 3 months from today.

In case, favourable order is passed, the benefits thereof be accorded to the petitioner within a period of 03 months of passing of aforesaid order.

Disposed of accordingly.
