The petitioner made submission that father of his client Karan Batta informed him that the Patiala Police has illegally taken away his son Karan Batta from his house. On getting the said information, he sent E.mail to the Hon'ble High Court.

The petitioner after arguing for sometime, submitted that presently Karan Batta is lodged in judicial custody. He further made prayer that he be allowed to withdraw this petition as the same has become infructuous.
