The Punjab State Co-operative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd., Chandigarh-the plaintiff, has filed a revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, against order dated 24.03.2017 (Annexure P-6), whereby the evidence of the plaintiff has been closed by order.

The plaintiff had filed a suit for recovery of Rs.1,12,35,473/- along with interest @ 21% per annum. Subsequently, the suit was transferred to the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, as the dispute was found to be a commercial dispute and hence, it was to be tried under Commercial Act, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Court Act, 2015.
