The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.52, dated 29.04.2020, registered under Sections 379, 447, 341, 506, 148 & 149 IPC at Police Station Ghuman, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur along with all consequential proceedings arising thereof.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the instant petition with liberty to raise all pleas before the trial Court at the appropriate stage. He however, prays that the trial Court be directed to grant exemption to the petitioners from personal appearance as petitioner No.1 and his wife petitioner No.4 are 70 & 75 years old and suffering from old-age ailments, while petitioner No.3 who is daughter-in-law has no concern with the dispute in question. However, petitioner No.2 shall appear before the trial Court. They are ready to furnish an undertaking by way of affidavit to appear before the trial Court on the dates, for which their presence is absolutely necessary.
