Respondent No. 1 had filed petition under Section 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 ('Act' for short) seeking ejectment of Paramjit Singh (since deceased). During the pendency of the petition, Paramjit Singh died. Thereafter, respondent No. 1 filed two petitions under the Act seeking ejectment of the petitioners. The learned Rent Controller vide order dated 8.6.2009 allowed the ejectment petitions. The appeals filed by the petitioners as well as respondent No. 1 against the said order, were dismissed by the Appellate Authority vide judgment dated 26.9.2013. Hence, the present petition by the petitionerstenants. After arguing for sometime, learned senior counsel for the petitioners has submitted that he does not press the revision petition on merits and prayed that the petitioners be granted time upto 31.10.2015 to vacate the demised premises as they were in GURPREET SINGH 2015.04.24 15:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Civil Revision No. 4858 of 2014 (O&M) -2possession of the premises in question for a number of years. The said request has not been opposed by the learned counsel for respondent No. 1.

In view of submissions made by the learned senior counsel for the petitioners, this revision petition is dismissed on merits. However, the petitioners are granted time to vacate the demised premises on or before 31.10.2015. This order shall operate subject to filing of an undertaking by the petitioners in this regard before the learned Rent Controller within 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and on making payment of the entire arrears of rent, if any due, within a period of 4 weeks from today and shall also keep on paying the rent of ensuing months up to 31.10.2015 to respondent No. 1 on or before 10th of each calendar month.
