Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant minimum pay scale/gross salary admissible to the regular Assistant Professors from 20.07.2017, from which date the extension lecturers were directed to perform the same duties, which are being performed by Regular Assistant Professors. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case they are permitted to make a representation to the second respondent for the purpose, within a period of one week.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, contends that in case any such representation is filed by the petitioners AVIN KUMAR 2024.05.13 18:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order.

CWP No.1394 of 2024 [2] within one week, the same will be decided by respondent No.2-Director, Higher Education, by passing a speaking order within three months of receiving the representation, in the light of law laid down by this Court in Kalyan Singh case, Annexure P-6, as modified by the Division Bench. 4.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof. 5.
