The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No.23, dated 04.03.2020, under Sections 307, 323, 148, 149 IPC, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Cantt. Ferozepur, Distt. Ferozepur.

On advance notice, learned State counsel puts in appearance and produces the copy of order dated 17.01.2025, passed by this Court in CRM-M-63789-2024, titled as, "Karan @ Karni and another vs. State of Punjab and another", whereby, the order of declaration of the petitioner as 'Proclaimed Offender' in the present case was assailed and when this Court was not inclined to accept the request, said petition was withdrawn by the counsel qua the present petitioner.

In view of the fact that order whereby the petitioner was declared as 'Proclaimed Offender' has attained finality, no ground is made out to entertain the present petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Petition stands dismissed accordingly. However, in case the petitioner himself surrenders before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from today, his regular bail application shall be considered by the trial Court within a period of two weeks thereafter.
