*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already been selected for the new post. He has already joined the said post and is working there, hence the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been rendered infructuous.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that though the petitioner has already joined but the Department needs to appoint fresh personnel to fill up the post, hence the petitioner be directed to submit his technical resignation so that the same could be accepted and the post vacated by him could be filled up in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that within a period of next seven days, technical resignation of the petitioner will be tendered, if not already submitted.

Keeping in view the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
