IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CWP-1323-2026 (O&M) Date of Decision : February 25, 2026 JAGMOHAN KAUR -PETITIONER V/S STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER -RESPONDENTS

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KULDEEP TIWARI

Present:

Mr. Rajinder Kumar Mathur, Advocate, and Mr. Rajeev Kumar Chauhan, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Sahil R. Bakshi, A.A.G., Punjab.

Ms. Mona Yadav, Advocate, for Mr. Ranjit Singh Kalra, Advocate for the respondent No.2.

*** KULDEEP TIWARI, J. (ORAL) 1.

Despite having been granted multiple opportunities, learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to place on record the relevant statutory Rules/Regulations conferring upon the petitioner the right to seek re-evaluation in place of re-checking. Instead, by way of an application bearing No. CM2915-CWP-2026, certain documents, which are not germane to the issue in controversy, have been sought to be placed on record. 2.

In view of the above position, learned counsel for the petitioner initially sought an adjournment, which was declined by this Court. Thereafter, he prayed for permission to withdraw the present writ petition, with liberty to file a fresh writ petition on the same cause of action, with better particulars. 3.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty (supra).

4.

Pending application stands disposed of accordingly. (KULDEEP TIWARI) February 25, 2026 JUDGE devinder Whether speaking/reasoned :
