HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 552 dated 04.11.2020 under Sections 5/23 (2), 17 of the Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Act, 2015 and Sections 11-59-60 of Animals Cruelty Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Nuh, District Mewat. As per allegations in the FIR, a secret information was received that the petitioner along with others is indulged in cow slaughtering business and on the fateful day, petitioner along with his friends was transporting cows for the purpose of slaughtering in truck container bearing registration No. UP-23-T-8504. As per information, petitioner would go from UP side to Chuhudpur Rajasthan via hills of Palla Nuh Tauru road.
On receipt of information, Naka was laid and the police intercepted the truck from which 31 cows, 5 heifers, 4 calf and 10 bulls were found being tied with ropes. However, the petitioner managed to run away from the spot. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has not been apprehended at the spot. He is sought to be implicated only on MANOJ KUMAR 2021.03.

Opposing the petition, learned state counsel submits that the petitioner does not deserve the concession of anticipatory bail. The petitioner has been specifically named in the FIR. The registration of the truck, which was carrying cows and another animals for the purpose of slaughtering, has been specifically disclosed in the secret information. The truck was intercepted and the cows and other animals were seized.
In the light of the allegations leveled against the petitioner, and considering the gravity of offence, this court is not inclined to grant the relief.
Dismissed.
