(Oral) Status report by way of affidavit of Mr. Sukhraj Singh Ghuman, DSP, Sub-Division Sunam, District Sangrur on behalf of respondent-State has been filed, which is ordered to be taken on record. The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of previous order dated 2.2.2022. The State counsel on instructions from ASI Mithu Ram has admitted the aforesaid fact and further made submissions that the petitioner is not required by the police for custodial interrogation. ( 2 ) CRM-M-3753-2022 The petitioner is not signatory to the alleged agreement to sell, which was stated to be executed between Gurmeet Singh, Gurjant Singh and one Pargat Singh son of Ajit Singh.
In view of the above without making any comment on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 2.2.2022 is hereby made absolute.
