NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 41 dated 03.02.2020 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 363 and 366A IPC at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on merits, on the ground that the victim/respondent No. 2 herein has solemnized marriage with the petitioner after attaining majority and is happily residing in her matrimonial house.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since, the impugned FIR (Annexure P-1) has already been quashed on the basis of compromise dated 12.3.2024 by this Court vide order of even date passed in CRM-M-14518-2024, therefore, nothing remains to survive in the instant petition. He further submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition.

Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
