(Oral) The present fourth petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.251 dated 14.11.2020 registered under Sections 302, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar Nabha, District Patiala.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that during the pendency of the present petition, the prosecution evidence has already been concluded and the statements of the petitioners-accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. stands recorded. The matter is now fixed for 16.04.2026 before the Trial Court for defence evidence. He thus submits that he would not press the instant petition for grant of regular bail but would confine his request to only an expeditious conclusion of the trial. 3.

Learned State Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid submission.

Hence, while disposing the present petition for grant of regular bail as not pressed, the Trial Court is requested to expeditiously conclude the trial in the present case and in any case not later than 03 months from the date next fixed before it i.e. 16.04.2026.
