The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of regular bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.0205 dated 2.11.2020 at Police Station Bicchor, District Nuh under Sections 13(1) and 13(3) of Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Act, 2015. 2.

As per the case of prosecution a secret information was received on 2.11.2020 to the effect that the petitioners Azad and Sahajad alongwith their co-accused Nakim, Mustakim, Ayyub and Sabar indulged in slaughtering of cows and selling beef. Pursuant to receipt of said information a raid was conducted. While the co-accused managed to escape, the petitioners were arrested at the spot and 6 cow skins and 290 Kgs. beef were recovered from them.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and bearing in mind the fact that the petitioners have been behind bars since the last 3 months and the recovery already stands effected, further detention of the petitioners will not serve any useful purpose as the conclusion of trial is likely to take some time. The petition, as such, is accepted and the petitioners are ordered to be released on regular bail on their furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
