***** SUDHIR SINGH J. (ORAL) Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to do the wardbandi of all the wards of newly constituted Gram Panchayat of Village Achhariki, Block Jalalabad, Tehsil and District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of grievance of the petitioner, he has moved three representations (Annexures P-4, P-5 and P-6) dated 03.01.2024, but the same have not been adverted to by the respondents till date.

On advance service of copy of petition, learned State counsel appears and opposes issuance of notice of motion. Without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the relief sought for herein, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4/competent authority to consider representation(s) dated 03.01.2024 of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order.
