(ORAL) Present appeal has been filed by the injured-claimant against the dismissal of his claim petition by the learned MACT, Ambala vide Award dated 26.10.2023 passed in MACT Case No. 381 dated 02.11.2018 filed under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Present appeal is of the year 2024. However, notice has not yet been issued in the same. Even on the last two dates of hearing i.e. 31.01.2025 and 08.07.2025, none had put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. Today also, none appeared on behalf of the appellant. Therefore, it can safely be presumed that the appellant or his counsel is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. In view of the above, present appeal stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
