The present revision petition pertains to the year 2014. On 14.10.2014 the Executing Court was directed to adjourn the case beyond the date fixed in the present petition. Thereafter on 18.09.2015 the following order was passed :
"Heard.
Admitted.
Interim order dated October 14, 2014, shall continue. In the wake of the nature of controversy involved in the present lis, Registry is directed to set down the appeal for hearing, within a period of six months.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in arrears of rent as he has not paid rent since 2012. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to clear entire arrears of rent, if any, within a period of four weeks from today, failing which the interim order dated October 14, 2014, shall stand vacated and the respondent shall be free to execute the order of eviction forthwith."

Subsequently there are no orders indicating as to whether the arrears were cleared or not and whether the eviction order has been executed. On 09.10.2023 since the counsel representing the petitioner had joined the Superior Judicial Service (Punjab), notice was issued to the petitioner.

As per office report the petitioner is stated to have left the residential address at which he was residing. Today no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. This Court is left with no option but to dismiss the revision petition for non-prosecution. 4.
Dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives.
