Learned counsel contends that the only grievance of the petitioners is that despite Execution Petition No.143 of 2016, titled as 'Mohinder Singh (deceased) etc. vs. State of Punjab through Collector' filed for execution of judgment and decree dated 08.01.2016, passed by this Court in RFA No.1093 of 2000, pending before the learned Executing Court since 27.04.2016, the same is repeatedly being got adjourned by the respondents without taking steps to comply with the judgment and decree. Learned counsel states that the petitioners prayer is that the revision petition be disposed of by directing the learned Executing Court to decide the execution petition expeditiously in a time bound manner. 2.

I have considered the submissions of learned counsel and for the view that I am taking, I do not deem it appropriate to issue notice to the respondent, as the same would unnecessarily delay not only the final SANDEEP 2018.08.13 14:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CR No.5112 of 2018 disposal of the instant revision petition but also Execution Petition No.143 of 2016, pending before the learned Executing Court, Sangrur. 3.

Taking into account all aspects of the matter, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the revision petition by directing the learned Executing Court, Sangrur to decide Execution Petition No.143 of 2016, titled as Mohinder Singh (deceased) and others vs. State of Punjab through Collector, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Revision petition stands disposed of in the light of the aforementioned directions.
