Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Petitioners have preferred the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.30 dated 05.04.2017, registered under Sections 354, 323 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Kotfatta, District Bathinda (Punjab). Vide order dated 24.01.2020, the arrest of the petitioners was stayed.

Learned State counsel, at the outset, on instructions from ASI Sandeep Kumar, informs the Court that the State has filed the cancellation report in the present case which is pending consideration before the trial court for 13.08.2021.

In view of the same, the interim order dated 24.01.2020 is made absolute.

Petition stands allowed.
