By way of present writ petition, filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for issuance of a writ especially in the nature of certiorari for quashing impugned order dated 23.08.2023, Annexure P-3, passed by respondent No.3, by which the Licence of the petitioner for regulating sale, storage of essential commodities under the Punjab Targeted Public Distribution System (Licensing and Control) Order, 2016, has been suspended till further orders.

State counsel has placed on record a vernacular copy of order dated 07.02.2024, passed by respondent No.3. Upon instructions from Mr. Bakramjit Singh, AFSO, Budlada, District Mansa, he submits that the supply to the fair price shop of the petitioner has been restored.
