On instructions, learned Assistant Advocate General states that though she does not have the exact details yet as per her information all the petitioners stood promoted by the year 1995 and therefore, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in the absence of any written intimation she is not in a position to either confirm or deny this assertion.

In the circumstances, this petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to revive the same in case the above assertion is not correct.
