Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case the instant petition is disposed of while issuing direction to respondent No.5 - The Superintendent of Prison, Central Jail, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab to process and dispose of his application seeking grant of parole expeditiously, which the petitioner had filed on the ground that marriage of his brother-in-law is to be solemnized on 22.3.2026.
