Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards the veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) to look into the matter and to dispose of the representation dated 1.12.2020 (Annexure P-1) (although addressed to I.G.P. Border Zone, Amritsar) in accordance with law expeditiously. In case it is found that there is any genuine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then requisite steps be taken for ensuring that no harm is caused to the petitioner. 2.
