Through the present petition, enhancement is sought in the interim maintenance granted to the petitioner-wife through order dated 18.05.2018 passed by the Additional District Judge, Ludhiana (for short - the Trial Court).

In the proceedings pending between the parties under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short - the Act), the Trial Court, through the impugned order has granted to the petitioner-wife interim maintenance under Section 24 of the Act @ Rs.11,000/- per month from the date of filing of the application. Litigation expenses of Rs.7,700/- have also been granted. Such amount has been awarded after considering the monthly salary credited to the account of the respondent-husband to be between Rs.27,000/- and Rs.35,000/-. That being so, the impugned order warrants no interference.

Dismissed.
