Main Case:- 1.

The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS is for the issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 5 to conduct a fair and proper investigation in FIR No.17 dated 07.12.2025 under Sections 7, 7-A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Section 308(2) and 61 of the BNS registered at Police Station Anti Corruption Bureau, Panchkula, District State Vigilance Bureau, Panchkula. At the very outset, the learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Inspector Virender, submits that SI Jora Singh has been arrested on 02.04.2026. As regards ASI Narender Singh, proceedings to declare him a proclaimed offender have been initiated and he shall be so declared soon in accordance with law.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court, at this stage.

Needless to say, in case it is found that the investigation is not proceeding in a fair manner, the petitioners would be at liberty to approach this Court once again.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
