!"#$% Prayer in this writ petition is for directing the respondents to release the amount of Leave Travel Concession (LTC) for the Block 2016- 19, which is stated to be due towards the petitioners.
It is submitted that petitioners are entitled to the said benefit and the same was even sanctioned in the year 2019 itself by the competent authority, however the amount has not been released to the petitioners till date, despite several representations. Mr. Harish Nain, AAG., Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Advance copy of the writ petition stands supplied. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts the prayer for a decision of legal notice dated 05.01.2022, Annexure P4, submitted by the petitioners, in a time bound manner.
Learned counsel for the State does not raise any serious objection to the restricted prayer.
Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide legal notice dated 05.01.2022, Annexure P4, submitted by the petitioners by passing a speaking order, within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, petitioners are found entitled to the relief as claimed, the amount be released to the petitioners immediately thereafter. &' (
