The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for directing the respondents to fix the notional date of appointment prior to January 1, 2004 and to grant pensionary benefits along with all consequential benefits to the petitioner under the Old Pension Scheme.

Pursuant to order dated 01.02.2021 passed by this Court directing the respondents to pass a speaking order on the pending legal notice (Annexure P-5), the claim of the petitioner has been considered and the same was rejected, vide order dated 22.02.2021 (Annexure R-1) appended with the short affidavit dated 21.06.2021 filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the above order, if so advised, in accordance with law.
