Shashi Bala v. Deepak Rai
In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Civil Revision No. 5366 of 2018 Date of Decision: 29.10.2022 Shashi Bala ... Petitioner(s)
Versus
Deepak Rai ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Anil Kshetarpal.
Present:
Mr. D.S.Kahlon, Advocate for the petitioner(s).
Mr. Vishav Bahl, Advocate for the respondent.
Anil Kshetarpal, J.
1.
This revision petition has been filed assailing the correctness of the order passed by the trial Court on 08.05.2018 while striking off the petitioner's defence on account of non-filing of the written statement within the prescribed time.
2.
The learned counsel representing the respondent submits that the main petition filed under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, was dismissed for non-prosecution, but no application for restoration thereof has been filed, so far. The learned counsel representing the petitioner does not dispute that fact.
3.
Since this revision petition has been rendered infructuous, therefore, the same is disposed of as such.
