**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) Instant petition under Section 482 Cr.PC for issuance of directions to the official respondents to submit the final report in case FIR No.143 dated 28.09.2014 registered under Sections 341, 323, 427, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Majitha District Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR in question was registered way back in the year 2014, however, despite lapse of 8 years neither has the investigating agency presented the challan nor it has filed the cancellation report. Learned counsel further submits that he wishes to travel abroad and the pendency of the FIR registered against him is coming in his way from travelling outside the country. Notice of motion.

Mr. Ramdeep Pratap Singh, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.
