The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.230 dated 29.12.2018 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 465, 467, 471 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Haibowal, District Ludhiana. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.
From the record, I find that the FIR in the present case has been got registered by complainant-Rajni Devi alleging that Nirmal Singh had executed sale deed and defrauded by taking `21 Lakhs whereas he was not owning this property. As per FIR, the present petitioner had also gave in writing to return the money but no money was returned. The present petitioner is one of the main accused, therefore, he is required for custodial interrogation. Cr. Misc. No.M-2967 of 2019 [2] allegations against the petitioner, I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
