       CM No. 233-LPA of 2023 For the reasons mentioned in the application duly supported by an affidavit, delay of 181 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Application stands allowed.

LPA No. 74 of 2023 (O&M) Learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, fairly submits that other appeals filed by the appellant-State of Punjab involving identical issues have been dismissed by a coordinate Bench (lead case LPA No. 102 of 2021 State of Punjab and others vs. Rajesh Gupta) vide judgment dated 24.01.2023. He further submits that the present appeal is also identical and stands squarely covered by the aforesaid decision. However, on instructions from Mr. Rupinderjit Singh, Senior Assistant, Department of Water Resources, Punjab, he submits that the appellantState of Punjab has in fact complied with the order passed by the learned Single Bench and paid all the dues, to which the respondent is entitled. In the circumstances, this appeal is dismissed in terms of the judgment dated 24.01.2023 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in LPA No. 102 of 2021 (State of Punjab and others vs. Rajesh Gupta) and other connected matters and the reasons recorded therein be treated as part of this order.
