Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 09 dated 15.09.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 477 read with Section 34 IPC at Police Station NRI, Kapurthala and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 15.10.2018 (Annexure P-2) effected in between the parties.

Pursuant to orders dated 27.01.2020 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kapurthala on 06.02.2020 to get their statements recorded. Learned Additional Chief RISHU KATARIA 2020.03.12 12:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-3500-2020 -2Judicial Magistrate, Kapurthala , submitted her report vide letter No. 121 dated 14.02.2020, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Kapurthala.

According to the report, learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kapurthala, is satisfied that parties have entered into compromise voluntarily and the same is genuine. In compliance of order dated 27.01.2020, original receipt regarding deposit of costs of `20,000/- has also been produced in Court today. The same is taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kapurthala dated 14.02.2020; no objection of learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 09 dated 15.09.2018 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioners only.

Registry is directed to verify deposit of aforesaid costs, with the concerned quarter.
