ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein is for setting aside order dated 24.03.2008 passed by Ld. Rent Controller as affirmed by Ld. Appellate Authority vide order dated 27.10.2009 allowing application under Section 13 of East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act filed by respondents/landlord.

Petition was admitted for hearing on 19.07.2010. 3.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 13.02.2023 none appeared on behalf of either side and the registry was asked to issue notice to the parties as well as their respective counsel. As per office note, learned counsel for petitioner has been informed and her counsel has also been informed. However, learned counsel for respondents is stated to have since expired, but all the respondents have been duly served. 4.

On resumed hearing today, out of professional courtesy, Mr. Mahajan appears and submits that upon inquiries he got to know that matter is amicably settled between the parties and this petition is rendered infructuous. He further submits that petitioner/tenant has already handed over the possession of premises in question to the landlords.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous believing the inquiries made by learned counsel appearing for respondents to be correct. However, liberty is granted to parties to file an appropriate application in case any cause of action still survives. 6.

Pending civil miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
