(ORAL) In the instant criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of petitioner, at the hands of respondents No. 5 to 10 and also to investigate the matter on representation dated 30.12.2019 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that purpose of instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 3- Senior Superintendent of Police SAS Nagar (Mohali), is directed to look into the matter and do the needful, if required.
In view of the above, respondent No. 2, is directed to look into the matter and, if, required, do the needful, in accordance with law The instant criminal writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly.
