Challenge in the present petition is to order dated 05.12.2022 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Faridkot, whereby the petitioner/husband has been directed to pay Rs.5,000/- to respondent No.1/wife and Rs.5,000/- per month to respondent No.2/child in an application filed by respondents under Section 125 Cr.P.C. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner/husband contends that respondent No.1/wife simultaneously filed complaint under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 before the learned JMIC, Faridkot. It is submitted that the entire disputes between the parties stand settled before the learned JMIC, Faridkot by way of compromise wherein the petitioner was required to pay Rs.6 lakh as full and final settlement of all disputes between the parties. Learned counsel submits that the said amount has been paid to the respondents as noted in SUNENA 2024.03.19 16:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
