Learned counsel for the respondents has pointed out that the present revision petition has been filed challenging the order dated 23.07.2018 whereby application for restoration of the Civil Suit No.02/2016 dated 04.02.2016 had been dismissed. Learned counsel for the respondents would further submit that the civil suit was filed challenging the election of respondent No.1 as Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Majri. Learned counsel for the respondents has stated that the election under challenge in the said civil suit pertains to the year 2016 and since then fresh elections had been held and hence nothing survives in the present revision petition. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has no instructions in the matter.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, the present revision petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to get the same revived in case anything survives. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
