The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

In compliance with the order dated 8.10.2020, a status report is filed with advance copy to learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per status report, the trial is going on is fixed for prosecution evidence on 25.11.2020. Learned counsel for the State submits that every effort would be made to ensure that the prosecution's witnesses are examined as early as possible.
