(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that although FIR No.85 dated 23.11.2017 under Sections 323, 324, 325, 326, 308, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Shri Hargobindpur, District Batala was registered more than 2 years back but till date neither any accused has been arrested nor any effective investigation has been conducted thereupon. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala to ensure that matter pertaining to aforesaid FIR is got investigated expeditiously in accordance with law so that a final report is GAURAV SOROT 2020.01.28 13:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
