Learned counsel representing the petitioner, after arguing for some time, prays for permission to withdraw the rent petition with liberty to file a fresh one.
Learned counsel representing the respondent has no objection. In view thereof, the rent petition filed under Section 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949,is permitted to be withdrawn with the liberty to file a fresh one on same or fresh cause of action. In the subsequent proceedings, the previous orders passed by the concerned authorities shall have no bearing.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
