In FIR bearing No. 218 of 21.6.2021, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural, the offences constituted under Sections 307, 341, 452, 506, 148, 149 IPC, and, under Section 25, 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, are embodied.

The learned State counsel, on instructions, given to himby ASI Balwinder Singh, submits that all the relevant recoveries have been effectuated, at the instance of the bail petitioner, to the investigating officer concerned. Moreover, it is also stated by the learned State counsel, on instructions given to him, that the victim has fully recuperated from the injuries, suffered upon his person in sequel to his becoming assaulted by the petitioner, and, the other co-accused.

Therefore, this Court does not deem it fit, and, appropriate to order for the custodial interrogation of the petitioner, as it would unnecessarily fetter, and, curtail his personal liberty, especially when the GURPREET SINGH 2022.03.30 17:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M No. 3990 of 2022 -2investigations into the offences carried in the FIR (supra), are complete, and, that very soon a report under Section 173 Cr.P.C., is to be filed before the learned Committal Court concerned.

Consequently, the instant petition is allowed, and, the order made by this Court on 01.2.2022, is made absolute on the same terms and conditions.

The afore observations are meant only for the disposal of the present petition, and, shall not affect the merits of the trial arising from the FIR (supra).
