RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed praying for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 5 for taking appropriate legal action against respondent No.6 on the basis of complaint, dated 20.03.2023, Annexure P-3. It has been inter alia submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent No.6-Lambardar is misusing his post and thus has earned disqualification on various grounds. He has further submitted that earlier the petitioner had approached the police also, however, the police authorities declined the same on the ground that they do not have the jurisdiction. It is further submitted that the petitioner has also filed the representation, dated 20.03.2023, Annexure P-3, however, no action has been taken on the same till date.

On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and has submitted, on instructions that respondent No.4-Deputy MEENU 2024.01.29 12:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-1611-2024 -2Commissioner has already sought report from respondent No.5-Sub Divisional Magistrate and thus, the matter is under consideration before him. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4-Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka, District Fazilka, to conclude the proceedings pending before him expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within two months from today.
