The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

This is a petition seeking issuance of directions to the respondents authorities to conduct just and fair investigation in complaint dated 09.12.2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that no action has been taken on the said complaint. He prays for transfer of investigation to some independency agency outside Hoshiarpur. Learned State counsel appears on advance notice. On instructions, she submits that complaint was looked into and the same was filed on 19.08.2020. She further submits that the petitioner can get a copy of order of filing of complaint from the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur on any working day.

The contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner are not worth acceptance. The petitioner has remedies available in accordance with law. There is no challenge to the filing PANKAJ BAWEJA 2021.04.20 13:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH

No directions are called for in the petition. So far as transfer of investigation is concerned, there are no grounds worth acceptance. The investigation cannot be transferred on merely a bald statement.
