The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC is for quashing of FIR No.0068 dated 20.08.2021 registered under Sections 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Amendment 2015) at Police Station Fatehgarh Churian.

Learned counsel for the State, at the outset, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, has stated that the cancellation report has been approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police and would be presented in Court within a period of two weeks' from today and further that no action is being taken against the petitioner in pursuance of the FIR. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the State, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition, at this stage.

Dismissed as not pressed at this stage.
