The directions issued on 9.4.2015 have not been complied with. The most crucial issue in the case is whether copy of the election petition served on the elected candidate had been attested as genuine or not. It was only to vouch for such an assertion as made by the elected candidate that the election petition actually served on him was directed to be produced in the Court. The petitioner merely relies on a copy of the petition filed along with the civil revision (Annexure P1). It cannot be said to be such a proof. Admittedly, it is a copy prepared for filing the civil revision and not the actual copy served on him. There is no benefit in the revision petition.
The petition is dismissed.
