(ORAL): The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent/University to allow the petitioners, who are contractual employees, benefit of Leave Travel Concession (LTC) on the grounds of circulars issued by the government Annexures P-1 to P-5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case their pending legal notice dated 28.12.2023, Annexure P-18, is considered and decided by the respondents in a specified period.

Mr. A.S. Virk, Advocate, for the University, appearing on advance notice, contends that the petitioners' pending legal notice shall be considered and decided by the Registrar of the University within three months.
